Chinese judo

Interesting stuff. Apparently identical to judo, perhaps with less dependence on the jacket for throwing. And shoes. I wonder what the cultural link is between judo/jujitsu and this type of Chinese wrestling. Who got which parts from whom?

  1. Apparently Shuai Jiao. I don't know anything about it except what I read from Black Belt in the early 80s. The exponents consider it the ancestor of all the arts, from what I remember. If the presumed lineage of the martial arts of Japan are correct, perhaps one of the various Jujitsu roots. Very interesting.
