I read The Gift of Fear last winter, and made my daughter read it as well. Highly recommended.
I have read a few books by Gavin, very good information.

I strongly recommend giving Mr. de Becker's latest work, Just 2 Seconds a read. It's an informative guide for protectors as well as an historical resource for attacks on public figures throughout the world.
