Earlier this year I posted that we'd gotten a couple of inches of snow here in Southwest Mississippi - a 10-15 year event for us. Well, today, for the second time this year, we are getting snow. And not just a light dusting of it - a heavy, continuous snow accumulating up to several inches on grass, cars, and elevated structures. The weather guys are confirming 4-6 inches of accumulation already this morning (9:00 am) in southwest Mississippi and even snow in New Orleans (Maybe the Saints will start winning now that hell has frozen over).
.
I tell you, we're just eat up with this global warming!

We got about 1" of snow south of Houston last night. Gorgeous stuff. It's almost all gone now, though.
Tied for the earliest recorded snowfall in Houston with 1944.
We're getting it this weekend, and all next week. High Sunday is going to be around 26, and according to the NOAA weather report, highs could be only around 19 for a couple of days next week.
Time to cut more firewood!
